Wudang Tai Chi Chuan is a Chinese martial art for self defence and method of exercise that can be practiced on many levels by all ages. Based on the Taoist philosophy of Yin & Yang, the system seeks to promote harmony in the physical and mental state of the student.

Students who practice regularly have a longer and more active life with fewer health problems. Other exercises can dissipate your energy, while Tai Chi Chuan accumulates it, leaving you feeling refreshed and energised when you finish.

The slow and graceful movements of the Wudang Tai Chi Chuan solo forms help to create better balance, flexibility, posture, coordination and improve general health.

The dynamic and practical partnered martial drills/applications develop strength, power and the ability to defend yourself.

And with an emphasis on deep breathing and mindful concentration, Wudang Tai Chi Chuan integrates your mind and body and is very effective at relieving stress.
